A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 892

Joanne called Jack and invited him out for a meal.

During the meal, Joanne reminded Jack that he had to take care of himself and to especially take care of his mental health. After all, health was wealth. If he lost all his money, he could just earn it back again. But if his body collapsed, he would lose everything.

Jeffrey and Helena were also worried that Jack would lose sleep over the crisis, so they tasked Joanne with buying some supplements for Jack. However, when Joanne was reminding Jack to take care of himself, she noticed he had a great appetite and seemed to be in high spirits.

The way he behaved was as if Haven Net's acquisition of Genesis Games didn't affect him in the slightest. He even seemed to be delighted by it, as if he had gotten a steal out of the deal.

"Jack, aren't you upset at all that Genesis Games was acquired by Haven Net?" Joanne asked curiously.

Jack's belly was full of food at that point, and he let out a satisfied burp before he replied, "What's there to be upset about? I'm in perfectly good spirits."

He was telling the truth. In Jack's perspective, having Genesis Games be acquired by Haven Net was akin to shifting his assets from his left hand to his right hand.

Although Genesis Games had suffered a heavy blow after having the game code they had poured their blood, sweat, and tears into for two years be stolen and replicated, its value was still nothing to sneeze at. After all, both "Legend of the West" and "Legend of the East" were still bringing in an endless stream of money for the company.

Although Genesis Games' stock market value had plummeted due to negative external factors that were out of their control, its actual value was still worth over 10 billion dollars. The reason for the rapid decline in stock market value was because the investors had sold off their shares in a panic after being influenced by the bad news. However, Genesis Games' core value remained untouched.

Jack guessed that there was someone who wanted to acquire the company when it hit its lowest market value, which might be around 1 to 1.5 billion dollars. However, Jack had beat them to the punch because he wasn't greedy.

He had made a move when Genesis Games' market value fell to two billion dollars, allowing him to increase his shares in the company from 10 percent to 100 percent with an extremely low price.
