A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 859

"Get lost!"

The once gentle and affectionate "As It Was Before" suddenly changed. Her expression turned icy, excusing a chilling indifference that sent shivers down one's spine.

The three punks laughed. "Well, aren't you a feisty little thing? It looks like we'll have to teach you a lesson."

With that, they charged toward them. Two of them cornered "As It Was Before", while the third casually knocked Jack aside like it was nothing.

The punks surrounded her, and "As It Was Before" intentionally put on a scared facade and hid behind Jack.

Then, she sent a private message to Jack. "Darling, I'm so scared. Please protect me." Along with that message was an adorable smile.

Jack instantly felt helpless. How was he supposed to protect "As It Was Before" with his lousy gear?

No matter how skilled he was, he wouldn't cause any damage to these punks. However, a sharp blade from them would have finished him. Wasn't he causing himself trouble?

"Attack!" The three punks typed and got into action. Jack was instantly beaten up so severely that he started fleeing.

Initially, "As It Was Before" was filled with anticipation, eager to witness Jack pull off a classic hero-saves-the-damsel moment in the game.

However, it didn't take long for her to realize that Jack's gaming skills were laughable. He nearly died several times. If it weren't for his quick reflexes and ability to run away fast, he would have been knocked out long ago.

So, "As It Was Before" decided to take matters into her own hands.

With her gorgeous moves and agile posture, she easily defeated these punks. They were utterly defeated before they could react and were immediately sent to the return point.

"Okay, Clumsy Piggy."

Before they knew it, it was 2:00 am.

Jack was tired. Although he enjoyed interacting with "As It Was Before", he said, "As It Was Before, I'm logging out now. Let's play another time!"

"Huh? You're leaving already?" Her tone was laced with reluctance. "Yeah! If I keep playing, I won't be able to get up tomorrow. I have a ton of things waiting for me."

"Okay!"

"As It Was Before" knew staying up late gaming wasn't a good idea, but she still wished Jack could stay just a little longer.
