A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 846

Jack found himself stuck in a predicament after receiving Casper's and Jason's offer. After all, he was just about to have lunch with the capitalists of Alnewgo Association.

Noticing Jack's concerns, Jason suggested with a smile, "Jack, since everyone is planning to go for lunch, I can place a call and make a reservation at a hotel. That way, everyone can join. What do you say?"

Upon hearing his words, Cedric hastily chimed in, "Mr. Grant, you don't have to make the call yourself. Coincidentally, I'm the owner of Crescent Hotel that is nearby. Mr. Grant and Jack, if the two of you don't mind, we could have lunch there."

The capitalists swiftly nodded in agreement with the suggested arrangement. It would be extremely fortunate for them if they were able to get acquainted with Jason through Jack's connection to him.

"That would be convenient," Jason acquiesced with a nod.

Cedric turned to look at his partners, easily obtaining their approval for his plan. They were very much drawn to the possibility of being able to develop a closer relationship with Jason.

With the arrangements in place, the party moved as one as they exited the clubhouse in high spirits, chatting and laughing among one another.

Jack had undoubtedly become the core of their circle. He chatted with Jason and Casper as the capitalists strolled by their sides, nodding and laughing along with their conversation.

There was no longer any doubt that Jack was worthy of being their leader. He had proven that both his capabilities and background were far superior to everyone else.

As Jack, Jason, and their party took their leave, from a distance away, a group of youngsters watched them go with varying expressions.

Zeta was in a daze as she stared at Jack's retreating back. She said, "Ruth… That friend of yours… Who is he exactly? How capable is he and just what illustrious background does he have?"

They had made fun of Jack not too long ago, but now they could only curse their own shallow view of things. Jack was someone who couldn't be figured out on the first glance, he simply had too many hidden layers.

Ruth found herself unable to answer Zeta's question. She watched as Jack's silhouette continued to shrink the further away he got. She suddenly came to a realization.

Jack would most likely be the most impressive person that she had the opportunity to come into contact with in her life. He was in a league of his own compared to everyone else.

The entire scene was reminiscent of the time Jack had first arrived at the university three years ago. It was as if nothing had changed, even though everything was different now.

Joanne had finally arrived at her dream school, Alnewgo University. Although the gates appeared a little ancient, she could sense the change that permeated the surrounding air. The students were filled with vitality and the campus was as beautiful as she had imagined, making her yearn to be a part of it.

It was registration day for the new students. The moment Joanne appeared, she instantly attracted the attention of the "hungry wolves" that were loitering in the vicinity. She had only alighted from the bus for a second when she was surrounded by the group of volunteers and non-volunteers.

"Hey, gorgeous. Do you need help with your bags? It's a free service!"

"Look here, beautiful! Let me help you with your luggage!"

"I grabbed this bag first! Hands off!"

"Then, I'll take this bag—What the fuck! Where did you get the strength to carry a bag that weighs 50 pounds when you normally whine and complain when you have to pick up an electric kettle?"
