A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 794

Bethany rolled her eyes at Magdalene. "No matter how hot he is, he's still not as hot as Hugo! Hmph!"

Soon after, Trixie and Lucia uploaded a post about Jack's information on Montclair Conservatory's discussion forum. The post then spread to the different university forums in Alnewgo, causing many of Hugo's friends and fans to speak out on his behalf.

The tone of their messages were hateful and the contents were filled with curses and insults. They scolded Bella, swearing that she would regret rejecting Hugo's advances.

Many of Hugo's friends also called him to give him advice. They promised that he would find someone much better than Bella in the future. They even bet that she would regret choosing Jack over him one day.

News of Montclair Conservatory's campus queen passing over the tall, rich, and handsome Hugo continued to intensify. As the person who was at the very center of the storm, Bella only returned to her dormitory the day after the incident took place.

When she entered her dorm, she immediately noticed that something felt off. Everyone's gazes were pinned on her. She looked down at herself.

After confirming that there was nothing amiss with her appearance, she asked, "Why… Why is everyone looking at me strangely?"

Francesca Ferguson, Bella's roommate, tugged on her hand and asked, "Bella, what did you do last night? You didn't come back, so we were all worried about you."

Bella blushed lightly. After breaking up with Jack once again, she had found a hotel to spend the night in, but she hadn't told anyone. However, her dormmates' concern for her warmed her heart.

They realized that something seemed off about Bella's expression. Francesca asked again, "Bella, that man from last night… Is he really your boyfriend?"

Bella hesitated for a moment before she nodded. She didn't want men like Hugo to mistakenly assume that she was single again.
