Who would've thought even Elias would be here!
The guests began whispering among themselves.
Felix's jaw dropped—clearly shocked. Judging by their expressions, it seemed Jack and Elias knew each other. If so, then things were about to go south—fast. After all, Elias was someone Felix would never dare to cross!
The security guard quickly put on a polite smile. "Mr. Carpenter, is he... a friend of yours?"
Elias glanced at Jack and nodded. "He is."
At that moment, Felix's face turned ashen.
To him, Jack and Elias belonged to completely different worlds—how could they possibly know each other?
The guard hurriedly said, "Well then, Mr. Carpenter. If he's your friend, then this was all a misunderstanding! Though... we haven't seen this gentleman before."
Elias was undoubtedly one of the most distinguished figures at the gala. He commanded the same respect as the kingpin of Tarthy. Compared to him, Felix was nothing more than a nobody!
With a faint smile, Elias added, "The Lycans of the Sandalwood Group—you should know them."
The guards might not have recognized Jack, but Sandalwood Group? That was a global corporate giant, impossible to ignore in Tarthy City.
Immediately, the guard bowed apologetically. "Forgive me, sir, for any unintended offense. I hope you'll bear with me."
No one mentioned how Jack had brutally beaten Felix.
The security guards were just ordinary men who knew how to curry favor with the powerful.
To men like Elias or Jack, Felix was utterly insignificant—easily crushed, and frankly, they wouldn't have cared.
