When Jack arrived at the venue, he noticed the restaurant was busier than usual. He spotted what looked like the last available parking space and quickly steered his car toward it. Just as he was about to park, a red Ferrari pulled up behind him and blared its horn.
Jack frowned slightly and said, "I got here first. Maybe check around for another spot."
To his surprise, the window of the Ferrari rolled down, revealing a young woman who looked visibly annoyed. "Move your car. I saw that spot first."
Jack scoffed and replied, "And if I don't? What then? Are you planning to resort to violence?"
The young woman grew more annoyed. "Bastard! Do you even know who I am? My father is Gerard Cadwallader. If you don't move, I'll make a call and lock you up."
Jack was stunned. He hadn't expected to meet his enemy in such a random encounter. It seemed arrogance ran in the family.
Just as Jack was about to respond, the man in the passenger seat of the Ferrari leaned over and gently pulled the young woman, Winona Cadwallader, back.
"Dad's in the middle of an important campaign. We don't want to cause any trouble."
She shot Jack one last pointed look before reluctantly backing out and driving away.
