Stephanie was shocked. 

She hadn’t expected George to be so rude, yelling at her in front of everyone like that. It was humiliating. 

With tears welling up, she looked like she was on the verge of crying but was holding back. “George, I didn’t mean anything else. I just wanted to let you know that my grandpa’s back in town. He says he misses you and wants to catch up.” 

George squinted, pondering over the truth behind her words. 

Although his grandfather had a good relationship with Milly’s grandfather, he didn’t have many dealings with him. With plenty of men in the Burnett family, was it really necessary for him to meet them?
