**Chapter 661**
**Third Person’s POV**
“Tamara’s situation at Bloodmoon is hardly a revelation,” Galvin remarked, a hint of resignation in his tone. “She’s probably just become accustomed to that kind of existence.”
With a swift motion, Paisley seized Galvin’s arm, her eyes narrowing with concern. “How can you say that? Do you have any specifics? I need to know what’s really going on with her,” she pressed, her voice tinged with urgency.
Galvin took a deep breath, preparing to share what he knew. “Well, even though Doctor Digby is reluctant to talk, whenever Tamara visits the medical center, she always ends up taking his special medication. I’ve made it a point to have the staff casually inquire about her well-being.”
He continued, his expression growing serious. “Tamara has become familiar with the staff over time. She sometimes opens up to them, sharing her burdens. Just yesterday, she was unusually quiet. It was evident that she had been crying, her eyes red and puffy. Previously, she confided that she was overwhelmed with responsibilities—managing everything for the pack while also catering to Rosemary’s every need, all while Luna Gloria held the purse strings tightly.”
“Gloria only doles out a pitiful allowance,” Galvin added, his voice low. “Once that runs out, Tamara has no choice but to sell her own jewelry or pawn her valuables. From what I’ve gathered, her life is a relentless cycle of stress and despair.”
As they approached Ivy’s room, the atmosphere shifted. Inside, Valentin was deep in conversation, reminiscing about old times with someone, while Beata sat nearby, listening attentively. Ivy, however, appeared unwell, her face drawn and tired. Upon hearing their discussion about Tamara, she let out a heavy sigh. “Tamara is far too gentle. She lacks the fortitude to stand up for herself, and she has no one to lean on. Her father is stuck in a lowly job out of town. It’s supposedly a temporary assignment, but we all know he was demoted and sent away.”
“Therefore, no matter how dire her circumstances at Bloodmoon become, she has no choice but to endure. She has a child to care for, and her options are painfully limited,” Ivy concluded, her voice laced with sympathy.
