Chapter 619
Third Person’s POV
:
“You can’t believe it?” Adelaide looked at him, confused.
Did Stanley deny it after Lance told him?
She asked, “Did Alpha Stanley deny it?”
Heath explained, “My father doesn’t know about it yet. He left early this morning.”
“So, he didn’t even see Lance?”
Heath shook his head.

Adelaide finally understood. They had given the Styxwarden Pack a heads–up last night, but Stanley had left the pack anyway.
Lance probably waited a long time when he got there.
He was likely already annoyed about how they were treated at the Mist Shadow Pack yesterday. So in a fit of anger, he just blurted it out and left.
That’s why everyone in the Styxwarden Pack knew now.
Camilla said, “If you can tell Lycan Erasmus about your investigation, you can tell me. I just can’t believe my father would do something like that.”
Adelaide looked right at her. “Lycan Luna Camilla, you should really go ask Alpha Stanley about this. It’s about a treason case, and I can tell you what we found. After all, it involves your father. But telling you the details of the investigation isn’t a good idea. This is official government business.”
Camilla was taken aback, but she quickly understood.
She really shouldn’t have asked for the details of the investigation.
The Wall family was at the height of its power. As the Lycan Luna, a person in such a high position, even a small mistake could be blown out of proportion.
Heath frowned. “Ask Alpha Stanley?” How could he even ask his father that?
If he didn’t confirm whether it was true or not first, even if his father said it was fake, he would

“Gamma Adelaide, if you don’t want to tell Lycan Luna Camilla, you can tell me. I’m not trying to interfere with the case, but this concerns the Styxwarden Pack. It’s completely reasonable for me to want to know where you got your information.”
Adelaide thought for a moment. Meanwhile, Camilla stood up. “I’m going to wait in my room for a bit. You two talk.”
She even took Anya with her, and they both left.
Adelaide took a sip of her coffee, soothing her dry throat, and looked at Heath.
His eyes were full of sincerity, and there was a hint of panic.
Adelaide began to explain. “We had a person whose job it was to arrange where these she- wolves from Madison’s estate would go. The ones who were placed years ago, if their mothers are dead, Madison knew she couldn’t control them anymore, so she stopped keeping tabs on them. We found them using other methods. But the ones placed in recent years, the person who was in charge of them is still around. We questioned him, and he confessed everything. That’s how we confirmed it.”
“As for Alpha Stanley’s secret lover, the person in charge of her knew all the details: how she approached your father, how he accepted her, where she was placed, and how many people were taking care of her. He confessed, and we verified the information. That’s how we came to our conclusion.”
“But I still suggest you go talk to Alpha Stanley. He’s the one who needs to address this. It’s something he has to explain to the Styxwarden Pack. Our job is just to inform him so he’s not in the dark. Next, we need to talk to him to decide if he will be responsible for watching her or if we will place her in our own custody. Either way is fine. It’s up to him.”
When he heard that, Heath’s heart sank.
This wasn’t some street gossip. This was a confession obtained by the Ministry of Justice, which meant all the information was under government supervision and would be given to Lycan Erasmus to review.
Unless the person who confessed was deliberately trying to frame the Styxwarden Pack, the confession was likely true.
But even if someone wanted to frame Styxwarden, it wasn’t that easy.
Once a confession is on record, the Ministry of Justice verifies it. Just as Gamma Adelaide said, they had already investigated and confirmed that Alpha Stanley did indeed have a secret lover
