"I do."

Elissa nodded earnestly, her eyes sparkling brighter against the silver-draped landscape outside the window.

Cooped up indoors for so long, she had been bored out of her mind.

Now that she saw the snow, there was no way she could resist.

Rowan's heart softened, his smile impossibly indulgent. "Go on then."

Evan happened to be coming up from the basement recreation room. Seeing the sickeningly sweet display, he got goosebumps and winked at Ian, who was right behind him.

Ian shot him a glare. "What? Sick of being a third wheel?"

Lately, their boss had been guarding Elissa like a hawk, never leaving her side.

Ian was completely used to it by now.

Besides, this was exactly how Rowan used to spoil Elissa when they were kids.

Back then, he kept it hidden; now, he wanted the whole world to know.
