"God how I hate these fucking assembly things" I moaned, dropping into the seat next to my best friend Sam. She snickered and rolled her eyes in agreement. "Honestly, they're so useless. These people must be high if they think anyone is actually listening" she said.

"Speaking of getting high..." I briefly flashed a small baggie of weed I scored from my brother's friend AJ. Sam's eyes widened and she slapped me on my thigh. "Kerry, hide that before we get busted!"

"Relax, would you. Everyone here is already half asleep by now."

We briefly turned our attention to the stage where our dimwit principal Mr. Lyon introduced the topic of the school assembly..drunk driving. A collective groan could be heard through the auditorium. I mean seriously, how many times were they going to drill us about this.

To make everything even more unnecessarily dramatic, the school invited a few police officers and the county sheriff to come and speak to us..well at us really. They were mostly self-righteous overweight guys with haircuts from the 80s. I could tell it was going to be a snooze fest, and had already kicked my feet up and closed my eyes.

Suddenly Sam nudged me in the ribs and I gave her an annoyed look. "What?"

She nodded towards the stage and I turned my head in time to watch Mr. Lyon introduce two officers... And certainly not the kind of officers I was expecting. They were extremely handsome and in great shape. I was nearly drooling looking at them in those uniforms that fit on their bodies just right. And by the look of the rest of the audience suddenly waking up, I'm sure I wasn't the only one thinking it.

"Well hello, officers" Sam purred, shaking out her curly bangs. I giggled and crossed my legs, imagining one of those hunky officers uncrossing them for me in the back of his car..my mind drifted and I was soon imagining all kinds of dirty things I'd let-

"Kerry, earth to Kerry!" Sam said, snapping her finger in my face.

I took her cue and smiled to myself, already imagining myself riding one of those big tools.

About 45 minutes later, the assembly finally ended. I think more people were upset to see the two officers Evan and James taking off than anything else.

But for Sam and me, the fun was only just about to begin...
